The Ackland Student Photojournalism Contest

In conjunction with Picturing the World, the Ackland presents Picturing Our World: The Ackland Student Photojournalism Contest. A panel of esteemed judges — including Herald-Sun Photographer Mark Dolejs and UNC-Chapel Hill Studio Art Instructor Susan Harbage Page — have selected winning entries from a large group of submissions from students ranging from eighth to twelfth grade. The winning entries will be on display until April 6 in the Museum's Education Resource Center.
