Three graduate students, Pamela Whedon (Art), Natasha Naujoks (History), and Clare Douglass (English), conducted research in the course of spring and summer 2006. Each produced a short paper on one of the three painting, on the three paintings, and the papers were included as readings in the undergraduate seminar. In edited form the papers were published by the Museum, and they are available on this site in electronic form.
