When she was thrown down, she rose into the sky where she assumed a vast body with eight weapon-bearing arms. Then she laughed aloud, enraged, and said to Kamsa, 'Why did you hurl me on the ground, O Kamsa? The one who will destroy you is now born!' (1978:110)
