( Wav) Puja is when you pray to a god. There are prayers that you sing, and you put flowers on the gods-- garlands. Basically you pray to him, and he'll listen to it. My brother reveres Hanuman and Ganapati [Ganesha]. My Dad reveres Shiva.

Most people do puja in the mornings when they wake up. And they take a bath. You usually have got statues of the god in your house, and pictures. You sit there and you get incense sticks and you sing the prayers and you pray for good luck. You need something to look at, so you know what you're worshipping.

( Wav) Vishnu was a very important god to me, because he was the god of creation-- he was the one who took form to all the other gods. So I revere him because he was the most powerful. I revere Ganapati, because he is the one for success, and I believe success is one of the most important things in life. I revere Shiva, because I believe if there's creation there has to be destruction, so it evens out.

Hinduism believes there are many paths to be a good person.... You could worship any god and it could be the right path. Basically god is in everything, and god is inside of you -- is what you believe in.
