This punch bowl is a piece of Chinese export porcelain decorated with a hunting scene. Punch bowls were part of European table ware, and this piece was produced for the British market.  Although the hunting scene was probably copied from a British print, the Chinese painter employed some Chinese decorative motifs around the edge and brush-techniques to depict plants and flowers.
