Membership is an ideal way to support exhibitions and programs and participate in the rich offerings of the Ackland. Member events are an excellent way to meet new and long-standing friends of the Museum who share your commitment to arts in our community.

New membership level for Artist & Educators: practicing artists and K-12 educators receive basic benefits at a reduced price.

All Museum members receive a 10% discount on all purchases at the Ackland Museum store. Student Friends who make a $15 donation receive the store discount.

Members at the Patron level and above will be recognized on a donor wall.

Gifts of $2,000 or more are recognized by membership in the UNC-Chapel Hill Chancellors Club.

By supporting the Museum at the Contributor level or above, members are eligible for the North American Reciprocal Program, and entitled to free admission and other discounts at over 180 museums in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
